The coin depicts a panoramic view of Niagara Falls in a colour photographic hologram, surrounding an engraving of a camera capturing the dramatic scenery. This design, by Saskatchewan artist Chris Jordison, evokes the countless photographs taken by millions of visitors to this natural wonder of the world. The obverse of this coin features Canadian artist Susanna Blunt’s design of the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.Â
