Swiss-Indian move to combat counterfeiting
8 08 2007Tuesday, 07th August 2007 : India and Switzerland has signed a memorandum of understanding on safeguarding the intellectual property rights. The MoU is signed by Union Commerce & Industry minister Kamal Nath & Federal councillor of Swiss Federation Confederation’s Department of Economic affairs Doris Leuthard. Â
The agreement envisages setting up of a joint committe to develope a dialogue on Intellectual Propoert Right.
The memorandum of understanding, which was signed in New Delhi on Tuesday, establishes a working group to prevent the production, distribution and sale of counterfeit products, according to an economics ministry statement.
